About Ruth

Ruth is a registered medical herbalist with the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy. She was an active member of the East of England Medical Herbalist Group having run a successful practise in Essex, before joining Hydes. She regularly speaks at seminars and lectures about herbal medicine and holistic healthcare. With over 20 years of experience in the consulting room, Ruth sees hundreds of patients every year.

Ruth has a Bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature, and lived and worked in France for several years. At Hydes Ruth uses French, and her second foreign language Italian, in consultation where these are needed by patients.
